Alternative Education Food Cookoff
Twice a year, CCOE’s Curriculum, Instruction & Accountability Department hosts an Alternative Education Food Cookoff. In this themed cooking competition, students from the ATP, S. William Abel Academy (SWAA), and Colusa County school district Alternative High Schools, prepare menus and food budgets, cook meals, and are judged in a blind taste test. The Adult Transition Program took home the gold in the April 2026 Taco Cookoff, going up against Arbuckle Alternative High School, Colusa Alternative High School, and SWAA.
