As a student in the Adult Transition Program...

  1. you are a legal adult, so you make the decisions.  It is up to you to make choices for yourself.  We will always include your family, but whatever you agree to is what we will do.  The exception to this will be if you are in a conservatorship.

  2. you will have access to your cell phone.  You cannot be on your phone during class time, however if you are at work or we are in the community, you will need to have your phone so ATP staff can contact you.  You will also need your phone to work on safety skills, and to use your calculator and calendar.

  3. you must actively participate in class activities.  For example, we create the lunch menu, we do the shopping, we do the cooking, and we do the cleaning.
